Radiohead/Prince battle over "Creep"
A weird copyright battle is currently taking place between two music titans, Prince and Radiohead. When Prince played Coachella he covered Radiohead's "Creep" and video of the rendition inevitably ended up on YouTube. Prince's label NPG Records quickly removed the clips, claiming a copyright violation. Now Radiohead wants the clips to go back up. When asked about the cover in a recent interview Thom Yorke called it "hilarious" and laughed when guitarist Ed O'Brien said he had been prevented him from seeing Prince's version of their song. "Really? He's blocked it?" asked Yorke. "Well, tell him to unblock it. It's our … song." No word yet from Prince on this.
