Radiohead releases an app that's all about computers and the subconscious

Radiohead has just released its first app, surprising everyone who thought the group probably had an app already. PolyFauna “comes from an interest in early computer-life experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious,” according to frontman Thom Yorke. Using images and sounds from The King Of Limbs’ “Bloom,” the app operates similarly to Björk's Biophilia program, allowing users to make their screen “the window into an evolving world” and “get some pretty strange looks on the train.” The app is available for download now for both iOS and Android.
