Rage Against The Machine considering recording new album
According to frontman Zack De La Rocha, Rage Against The Machine is considering recording a new album as early as this year, telling NME that it may follow its upcoming string of European dates with a trip to the studio for the first time since 2000’s Renegades. De La Rocha said that the group must first “get our heads around” its plans for the rest of 2010 and “finish up on some other projects”—meaning, presumably, guitarist Tom Morello’s various Street Sweeper Social Club and Nightwatchman obligations—but that it’s “a genuine possibility” that it will soon begin raging against the more contemporary things that can be attributed to the machine. Better hurry before everything gets fixed!
