Raise a glass to Drunk History’s season four trailer

Drunk History returns to Comedy Central for a fourth season of slurred words, giggle fits, drinking games and, oh yeah, historical education. We already know that Lin-Manuel Miranda will lend his drunken ramblings to season four by narrating the Hamilton-Burr duel that he knows a thing or two about. Even more importantly, Alia Shawkat and and Aubrey Plaza are playing A. Ham and A. Burr, respectively. They’ll probably both have to lip-sync to a liquor-fueled freestyle from Miranda at some point in the segment, and unlike the great waiter himself Aaron Burr, we can’t wait for it.

Today, Comedy Central dropped a trailer for season four that reveals more of what’s to come from television’s most educational program. Several familiar faces are returning to reenact some of history’s greatest but under-taught events: Tony Hale, Thomas Middleditch, Michaela Watkins, Joe Lo Truglio, Jason Ritter, and Jack Black will all return to bring the drunk words of others to life. New reenactors include The Good Wife’s Josh Charles, Orange Is The New Black’s Taylor Schilling, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel Bilson, and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, who is seen beating up a man in the trailer, naturally. Some of Drunk History’s best narrators, like Jenny Slate and Paget Brewster, are coming back to get crunk about history again. There will be a talking chicken. There will be explosions, shootouts, and sinking ships. There will be a little bit of puking. Season four of Drunk History looks like it’s going to continue the show’s legacy of being a masterful shitshow, but Derek Waters has it all under control.

Season four premieres on September 27 at 10:30 p.m. Comedy Central.
