According to Variety, geriatric mumbling enthusiast Sylvester Stallone will be back in action for a fifth installment in the Rambo franchise. As with Rambo, the surprisingly lucrative (150 million worldwide plus beaucoup DVD bucks) previous entry in the curiously deathless series, Stallone will direct in addition to starring. The film will pit Stallone and his thousand yard stare against drug lords and human traffickers. What, no diamond smuggling subplot? You're slipping, Sly. A fourth sequel starring a Botox-ravaged 63 year old might sound a little dodgy yet we remain, as always, cautiously optimistic.
