Despite Randy Quaid’s protestations that his recent arrest for squatting and felony vandalism was just the inevitable conclusion of cruel scheme involving forged contracts and corpses, all of which he hoped to elucidate by standing up for himself in court, the actor and his wife/enabler Evi decided not to show up to their hearing today, with the judge issuing two $50,000 warrants for their arrest. “They have a history of doing this,” the judge said, presumably shaking her head with quiet bemusement over those two loveable scoundrels. The Quaids are quickly becoming the Bonnie and Clyde of just refusing to pay for shit. Folk heroes for our troubled times?
