Ray Liotta could join Lady Gaga in her remake of A Star Is Born
Warner Bros. recently set a release date for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born, plugging the long-in-the-works remake into the September 28, 2018 slot on its movie release schedule. Now, the film—which Cooper is directing, and which has been previously adapted for the screen by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand—might be adding Ray Liotta to the cast.
The Goodfellas actor is currently hanging out on TV, where he plays the shady mentor to Jennifer Lopez’s conflicted detective on NBC’s Shades Of Blue. Now, according to Empire, he’s in talks for the Gaga-Cooper drama, about the deteriorating relationship between an up-and-coming actress and her older, more established lover. It’s not clear what role Liotta would play in the film.
