Big news in the Real Estate camp: The summery New Jersey indie-rock band is nearing completion of the follow-up to 2009’s Real Estate, which will be released in October via its new label, Domino. (The label will also handle all the Real Estate side projects, including Ducktails, whose latest album Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamics has been in steady rotation since January.) While it’s a shame that a breezy new Real Estate record won’t arrive in time to help us wile away the sweatiest months of the year, the group will be hitting the road for some dates this summer.
