Red Dead Redemption 2 is looking mighty big in its latest trailer
Happy Monday: Here’s the latest trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, revealing the best glimpse yet at the scope of the game. It seems enormous. Train robberies, side-quests, preposterous vistas, heists large and small, and RPG-style progression all promise a big, fun, modern video game, but it’s the small details (like, say, the horse testicles) that really illustrate the scope of what Rockstar is doing here. For example: If you don’t get your hair cut or bathe, the trailer seems to suggest that villagers will cower in fear at your stench. For someone opposed to bathing in video games, this is a promising mechanic indeed. Also: there’s a fishing mini-game! Fishing mini-games are always good.
Anyway, maybe you’re more of a “drinking and playing poker” type of person. There’s a little something for everyone here, which is entirely the point. This game’s out on October 26.
