Claiming that "Californication is the signature CD, video and song of the band's career," The Red Hot Chili Peppers are suing Showtime over the name of the David Duchovny series Californication. While it could be argued by some fans and critics that the band would have a stronger case if the show were called BloodSugarSexMagik, Anthony Kiedis apparently is pretty piping mad about all this: "For some TV show to come along and steal our identity is not right," he said. If Showtime is forced to change the name, how about One Hot Minute?
