When the YouTube channel Sneaky Zebra isn’t making elaborate “Prop Wars” videos, it’s releasing stylish music videos that celebrate cosplay. While the channel has recently uploaded videos filmed at BlizzCon, London Super Comic Con, and WonderCon, San Diego Comic-Con is easily the most highly anticipated nerd event of the year. And Sneaky Zebra did not disappoint with its SDCC video:
Set to “The Weekend” by Allen Stone, the video highlights all kinds of different screen-accurate cosplay, from Elf’s Buddy and Jovie to the feminist bookstore owners of Portlandia to Doctor Strange’s titular physician. And among the more creative costumes are a Disney princess take on Rey from The Force Awakens, a Joker-themed version of Donald Trump, and a burlesque team of X-Men.
