The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Honors (The CW, Friday, 9 p.m.): Thy eternal summer shall not fade, as long as $40,000 you pay… that is, if you’re an A-list celebrity. You may have to buy the right to a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, but that doesn’t make this year’s recipients any less notable. Among those immortalized in pavement in 2018 were Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Mark Hamill, “Weird Al” Yankovic, N’Sync, Mary J. Blige, RuPaul, Taraji P. Henson, Ryan Murphy, Jeff Goldblum, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Snoop Dogg—who, rightly, thanked himself in his acceptance speech. Dean Cain hosts the look back at all of the names that were cemented into the who’s-who of Hollywood canon last year.

Ron Funches: Giggle Fit (Comedy Central, Friday, 11 p.m.): Kicking off Comedy Central’s “Stand-up Month” with a fit of giggles is writer-actor-comedian Ron Funches, who steps out tonight in an aptly named hour-long special. After getting his start in Portland’s comedy scene, Funches made a name for himself cracking jokes on @midnight, Chelsea Lately, and John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show. He’s written for The Eric Andre Show and Kroll Show and worked on such shows as Portlandia, New Girl, Drunk History, Black-ish, and Bob’s Burgers.
