Nerds: Amiright? At least, that was the tension driving Revenge Of The Nerds, and it made for a satisfying finale when those damn pesky jocks got their comeuppance. Now, just when we all thought jocks were contents to leave well enough alone, Rami and Etan Cohen (the Coen brothers' non-union equivalents?) penned Revenge Of The Jocks, wherein they've imagined a world where nerds are in charge and jocks don't like it. The project feels a little like it's beating a dead horse, but with the addition of Jackass director Jeff Tremaine, that horse will also receive a fair number of nut shots. Tremaine's resumé of testosterone-fueled rambunciousness (Nitro Circus, Dudesons In America) might complement the seemingly testosterone-fueled premise of Jocks—or perhaps a grown-up Arnold Poindexter will light a violin on fire and attempt to eat it. Only time will tell.
