Deadline has the breaking news that perennially bedraggled Welsh actor Rhys Ifans has been cast as the main villain in Marc Webb’s Spider-Man reboot—although the studio has yet to reveal which villain he’ll be playing. Given recent decisions to go with Gwen Stacy over Mary Jane Watson, of course, it seems likely that the film would also bring back Green Goblin, although there are rumors that Venom could also be involved. True, we’ve seen both of those guys before, but that was like five whole years ago.
