While Rickheads (Mortycians?) eagerly await the new season of their favorite show, valiant internet users have rushed to fill the void in the hearts of millions of Rick And Morty fans. There have been all number of butter robots made, plumbuses assembled, and even a crafty fan theory or two. But if there’s one thing that Rick Sanchez stands for, it’s getting rickety-rickety-wrecked, son. Enter this new mashup which uses footage and dialogue from the show along with the Kendrick Lamar track, “Swimming Pools (Drank).”
This isn’t the first mashup for Rick And Morty, nor is it even the first mashup using Kendrick Lamar, but this new one works incredibly well with the visuals and the injected lines from the show. As compiled by Adam Schleichkorn, the video pulls from both seasons of the show and is filled with cameos of everyone’s favorite supporting characters, be it Birdperson or Mr. Poopybutthole. It’s a good track that is remixed well with the Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon cartoon, producing a chill, if eclectic, combination of the two worlds.
