Ricky Gervais creating Chinese version of The Office

As first announced on Ricky Gervais’ blog (and subsequently reported by the New York Post), Gervais is developing a Chinese version of The Office, joining similar adaptations that have been made for France, Germany, Canada, and Israel. Surely this version will be titled Unproductive Workers Bring Shame To Us All and framed as a cautionary example?
