Roger Friedman, disgraced former gossip columnist and all around sketchy dude, is reporting that Golden Globes funnyman Ricky Gervais is mulling a guest appearance on the American Office that would find him reprising his beloved David Brent character. The plans are still very tentative yet we remain, as always, cautiously optimistic. We just hope this doesn't keep Gervais from appearing in more blockbusters like Ghost Town and The Invention of Lying (both of which I liked, incidentally). The world will embrace you as a romantic leading man yet, Mr. Gervais!
