Guava Island, the long-teased collaborative film from Childish Gambino, Rihanna, and Atlanta director Hiro Murai, will stream for free via Amazon beginning at 12:01 a.m. PT on Saturday. Per a new report in The Hollywood Reporter, fans can expect the 54-minute project to blend animation and live action sequences with music, specifically restaged and remixed versions of Childish Gambino hits like “This Is America,” “Summertime Magic,” and “Feels Like Summer.”

What it won’t feature, strangely, is a vocal performance from Rihanna, who reportedly doesn’t participate in any of the musical numbers. Instead, she serves as a narrator, guiding viewers through a plot that follows Donald Glover’s Deni romantic pursuit of Rihanna’s Kofi, as well as his efforts to “unite the squabbling citizens of his tiny island” with music. That results in a potential music festival, and an island tycoon named Red (Nonso Anozie) who’d like to squash it. Glover has said it was inspired by films like Purple Rain and City of God. Stay tuned for our review this weekend.
