Motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel, the garishly dressed stuntman famous for legendary leaps—most notably his failed attempt at clearing Idaho's Snake River Canyon in 1974—died today at the age of 69. Guess clearing the air with Kanye West earlier this week was the last thing he needed to accomplish before motoring off to the great beyond. Godspeed, Evel.
