Rat Pack comedian Joey Bishop has died, passing away last night from "multiple causes" at the age of 89. Called "The Hub Of The Big Wheel" by Frank Sinatra, Bishop was a deadpan one-liner machine who provided The Rat Pack with many of its best jokes during its famous 1960s run in Las Vegas. He later parlayed his nightclub fame into two eponymous TV series, including a successful talk show that led to Bishop guest-hosting The Tonight Show more than 200 times. No disrespect intended, but if there's an upside to this it's that Bishop was the final surviving member of The Rat Pack, which means there's no one left to suffer through Bret Ratner's upcoming Mr. S. (Besides us, of course.)
