RIP Rick Wright of Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd keyboardist Rick Wright has died at age 65 of cancer. While he was overshadowed by bandmates Roger Waters, David Gilmour, and Syd Barrett, Wright made his mark on one of the biggest classic rock bands ever, penning songs like "Paintbox," "Summer '68" and, most memorably, "The Great Gig In The Sky" off of Dark Side Of The Moon, and singing lead on "Time" and "Astronomy Domine." He was forced out of the band by Waters during the making of The Wall, playing as a salaried musician during the tour in support the album, but later rejoined the Floyd when Waters departed.
