RIP Robert Goulet
Broadway star Robert Goulet died early Tuesday at age 73 from a rare form of pulmonary fibrosis. Goulet was diagnosed just one month ago and was awaiting a lung transplant. Goulet's greatest claim to fame was starring as Lancelot in the Broadway show Camelot in the '60s, but he's moved in and out of the pop culture spotlight ever since. Young'uns might know Goulet from Will Ferrell's boozy caricature on Saturday Night Live, a series of hilarious ESPN commercials, or his great guest turn on TV Funhouse. Through it all Goulet showed a likeable willingness to make fun of himself. "If you can't laugh at yourself, you're a fool," he said shortly before his death. "If you take yourself too seriously, get lost!"
