Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes writers hired for Jurassic Park 4, which is still happening
Set in motion by the butterfly flapping its wings that is Steven Spielberg's mouth, the rains hammered Northern Minnesota and the development of Jurassic Park 4 continues, with the Spielberg-produced sequel recently hiring two screenwriters to help scrub away any lingering memories of 2001's Jurassic Park III (should those exist). According to Deadline, Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa are the clever girl and non-girl drafted to provide that "completely different direction" promised for the franchise last year—a proposition which we merrily suggested could involve a future civilization ruled by super-intelligent, genetically revived dinosaurs, whose dangerous hubris leads to cloning humans, and who are then terrorized by a menacing Richard Attenborough. Considering Silver and Jaffa also wrote Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, we're pretty sure we'd like our money now, please.
