Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa reveals the origins of Jughead's hat

Riverdale has managed to successfully adapt many of the characters from Archie Comics canon for the small screen, like Jughead, who replace his “whoopee cap” for a knitted beanie. In charge of updating all of these characters for 2017 is series creator (and Archie Comic chief creative officer) Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. In the clip above, Aguirre-Sacasa reveals the origins of Jughead’s signature beanie.
