Rob Huebel joins Key and Peele’s cat movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have made an important addition to the cast of Keanu, their upcoming lost cat movie. They’ve hired Childrens Hospital’s Rob Huebel to play Spencer, “a friend and neighbor” to Key’s character. Why is that so important? Because the movie is about Key and Peele pretending to be drug dealers so they can recover a lost cat, and what’s the first thing you do when you lose a cat? You ask Spencer, your friend and neighbor. Then you disguise yourself as a drug dealer, meet up with Will Forte, and run into Method Man.

We wouldn’t have expected this to be the case, but Keanu is really shaping up to be the most true-to-life lost cat movie we’ve ever seen. Of course, that’ll all depend on whether or not Key and Peele end up finding their cat—the eponymous Keanu—hiding under a bush and throwing up grass. Then it’ll be the most true-to-life lost cat movie we’ve ever seen.
