Rob Lowe leaves Brothers & Sisters, potentially heads to Parks & Recreation—and soon

Today in "Rob Lowe makes a good decision" news: The Brothers & Sisters actor, who feels he's being underutilized on that show, might be headed to Pawnee, IN. Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello reports that on top of his scheduled B&S departure at the end of this season, he's close to a deal that would have him join the cast of Parks & Recreation—one of the funniest shows on TV right now. He'd appear in episodes at the end of this season, spilling into the third season that show was recently awarded. Given the man's impeccable comic timing and P&R's stellar track record of using its stars to its fullest (guests and all), it's likely Lowe will be pretty utilized. Oh yes, he'll be utilized indeed.
