Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta reunite behind Goodfellas 20th anniversary
Spike TV, the Lifetime network for men, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Goodfellas by bringing Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta together at Saturday’s fourth annual “Guy’s Choice” ceremony, which hands out penis-friendly accolades such as “Decade Of Hotness,” “Biggest Ass Kicker,” and half a dozen awards with “balls” in the title. While director Martin Scorsese won’t attend, organizers are said to be working on getting Joe Pesci to join his castmates in honoring the film’s legacy, which event producer Casey Patterson called “a touchstone among Spike’s target audience of 18- to 34-year-old men,” and a great way to kill three hours between UFC matches and reruns of the Star Wars trilogy. The show will be broadcast on June 20.
