Robert Downey Jr. likes the all-Robert Downey Jr. Spider-Man poster
You may recall that a couple of weeks ago, Marvel debuted a pretty crappy-looking poster for Spider-Man: Homecoming, full of embarrassingly amateur Photoshop work and featuring the looming, disembodied head of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark. Now, one internet dweller has amended that one-sheet by simply adding more floating Stark faces. It’s like Where’s Waldo?, except instead of looking for that bespectacled scamp, you’re searching for Tom Holland, the ostensible star of the movie, who is buried amid a bunch of goateed Iron Men. Downey, winkingly, reposted the art on Facebook.
The trailers imply that Downey’s character will have a significant role in the film, embedding Peter Parker in the context of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In one, Holland’s webslinger uses a Stark internship as cover for superhero activities.
