Rock's most infamous drunk driver Vince Neil arrested for drunk driving

Breaking what his wife claims is three years of sobriety, Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was arrested and charged with a DUI late last night. He was released earlier today on a $2,000 bail. Police are also currently investigating allegations that he smashed a woman’s camera after she tried to take a picture of him.

We’re torn here; on the one hand, Vince Neil was busted while barreling his Lamborghini down the Las Vegas Strip—and if you’re going to get busted for drunk driving, hell yeah, that’s the way to do it. On the other hand, the last time Vince Neil was nabbed for drunk driving, he killed a guy. Luckily that didn’t happen here, but it’s still plenty embarrassing for Neil, who’s spent the years since the 1984 accident that claimed the life of Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley trying to make amends by speaking out against drinking and driving, including making a speech about it in 2007 at the launch party for his tequila brand, Tres Rios—which is also the name of the Neil-owned Vegas restaurant where he apparently partied a little too hard. And of course, this mug shot isn’t helping things either. (Tattoo necklace aside, it looks like he and Thomas Kinkade have the same taste in drunk-driving threads.) Neil has a court date set for September 27.
