Rod Stewart says Faces will reunite for real in 2015

Rod Stewart says he and Ronnie Wood have earmarked 2015 for a Faces reunion. Stewart told Boston radio station WZLX that the lineup for the reunited blues-rock band would likely include original members Kenney Jones and Ian McLagan. Although various members of the group have performed together since the band officially broke up in 1975, Stewart hasn’t fronted the Faces since the 1993 Brit Awards.

Faces formed after singer Steve Marriott left the Small Faces in 1969, and the group’s three remaining members brought in Wood and Stewart from The Jeff Beck Group. The band released four albums, including 1971’s A Nod Is As Good As A Wink… To A Blind Horse, which went gold and featured the hit single “Stay With Me.”
