Ron Burgundy getting his very own Scotch whiskey to go down in your belly, ostensibly stay there

As a consolation to all who were disappointed that Ben & Jerry’s Scotchy Scotch Scotch ice cream contained not the peaty nectar beloved by Ron Burgundy, but rather candied snot, today brings news of a slightly more apt Anchorman tie-in. Riviera Imports has announced that it’s releasing the Great Odin’s Raven Special Reserve, “a blend of grain and malt Scotch whiskies bottled at 40 percent alcohol by volume” that, uh, has alcohol by volume all of the time. Each bottle comes emblazoned with the words “Ron Burgundy Blended Scotch Whiskey” and his “Scotchy Scotch Scotch” quote, for extra class. After all, what better way to savor the rich, refined taste of Scotch whisky than from a novelty bottle, created as part of a comedy’s relentless marketing campaign?
