Jay-Z’s Made In America Music festival is almost here. And, for those who can’t make the trip to Philadelphia, Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard is taking time out of his busy, Arrested Development-and-Aztecs schedule to not only attend, but also make a documentary about the fest and its curator.
The New York Post says Howard and longtime collaborator Brian Grazer will focus on Jay-Z's behind-the-scenes planning as well as how the rap superstar manages to stay so goshdarn culturally relevant. Hopefully, the documentary will also include a wry voiceover narration by Howard. Or, just a big, expensive boat.
