You know those rumors that were circulating last week about Watch The Throne coming out on July 4? Well, Independence Day has come and gone and there’s still no Kanye West/Jay-Z record, and it appears that the “leaked” information was merely a way to draw attention to the album’s pre-order launch. Damn you, “anonymous sources”! Watch The Throne will be available in 10-song regular and 14-song deluxe formats, according to Pitchfork; you can hear the song “H.A.M.” by clicking “like” on the album’s Facebook page.
While no official release date has been set, New York magazine suggests that Watch The Throne could be in stores by Aug. 2, judging by the ship date listed on the pre-order receipts.
