RuPaul Charles’ reality empire is based in Los Angeles, but once upon a time he was the queen of New York nightlife. And now he’s returning to the Big Apple, as the one guest star who can out-dress Ilana Glazer on season four of Broad City. Glazer and co-star Abbi Jacobson gushed about their experience with RuPaul in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, where Glazer says: “He’s just so delicious. He’s like, godlike, I’m not even kidding. Even him doing, like, normal shit in the show is just titillating. Fully fucking titillating.” And the feeling is mutual, as RuPaul is reportedly a fan. No details are available at the moment on what his role on the show will be, but his recent acting gigs have been out of drag.

As well as the Broad City appearance, just this year Ru has appeared in guest spots on 2 Broke Girls and HBO’s Animals and in a recurring role on Netflix’s Girlboss. That’s in addition to his show, podcast, music, convention, interviews, TV appearances, and whatever candy bar/scented candle/T-shirt he’s selling at the moment.
