Russell Brand, Paul Scheer, and a bunch of other people join Nicolas Cage’s Osama Bin Laden comedy

Nicolas Cage is getting some help in his one-man quest to hunt down Osama Bin Laden. Wait, we should be more specific, because that sounds too much like something that would happen in real life: Nicolas Cage is going to be in a movie where he plays a guy on a one-man quest to hunt down Osama Bin Laden, and now some other people have been cast in it. There, that’s better.

The film is Army Of One, and it’s being directed by Borat‘s Larry Charles. The story is loosely based on a man named Gary Faulkner who made multiple attempts to sneak into Pakistan and Afghanistan in hopes of catching Bin Laden. Now Deadline says Russell Brand, Ken Marino, Paul Scheer, Rainn Wilson, and American Horror Story‘s Denis O’Hare have all joined the project as well. We don’t know who they’ll be playing, but since Cage is—as always—an Army Of One, they’ll presumably all be either terrorists or non-terrorists who are trying to stop Cage in his ridiculous quest. As if anyone could stop Nicolas Cage from doing anything!
