Ryan Adams' streaming largesse gets out of hand

Last month Ryan Adams posted 36 unreleased tracks for free streaming on his website, and today Stereogum brings news that it's expanded to eight albums from such pseudonymous artists as DJ Reggie and The Shit.

Song titles include "When Pants Become Toilets," "David Fucking Letterman," and a clubbed-out cover of Bob Dylan's "You're A Big Girl Now." And yeah, apparently DJ Reggie-mode Ryan Adams raps. In some way or other. Not that free online releases are unheard of, but will this kind of volume (call it a truckload release, for lack of a better term) overwhelm the excitement/novelty of getting legal free music from a major artist?
