Ryan Gosling might star in the Blade Runner sequel
Ryan Gosling, an actor with a demonstrated ability to look cool driving through the neon-lit streets of Los Angeles at night, is currently in talks to star in Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner sequel, Deadline reports. Few other details are available, except that the story will take place several decades after the events of Ridley Scott’s 1982 film and Gosling will be starring opposite original Blade Runner star Harrison Ford, who will reprise his role as replicant hunter Rick Deckard. (Ford will also reprise another of his most famous roles in a little movie called Star Wars: The Force Awakens later this year, in case you haven’t heard.) Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve, whose latest film will compete at Cannes next month, is set to direct, with Scott attached as executive producer.
