Versatile actor and hilarious internet meme Ryan Gosling hinted at plans to retire early in an interview with The Times (pay wall protected, fyi), saying, "I don't want to act much longer…It'll be over whenever the inspiration dries up."
Lest you think this is some Stephen Soderbergh-type fear mongering, Gosling has a particular reason for wanting to retire: "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen." Ryan Gosling is so committed to every endeavor he undertakes that even baby-making will be a full time job. (And, according to this interview with MTV, the lucky lady who will bear Gosling’s child must be from his home country of Canada.)
