Appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that the upcoming season of his TV anthology will tackle a true story of American horror: The 2016 election. “I don’t have a title, but the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through,” Murphy said. When asked whether there’ll be “a Trump” in it, Murphy responded with a coy, “Maybe.”

Murphy’s works haven’t shied away from politics in the past; the first season of American Crime Story dove into the chaos of the O.J. Simpson trial, while the second is set to tackle the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Still, it’s somewhat more rare for AHS—which drew strong reviews for its most recent Roanoke season—to get so blatantly topical. That being said, who can blame Murphy for going in that direction, when cannibalistic witches and drill-dicked addiction monsters just don’t command the same terror they might have before CNN turned into a daily window into a very scary world.
