Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Gina Linetti survived getting hit by a bus, and now it’s time for some romance: Fox announced today that Ryan Phillippe will appear in the cop series as a “potential love interest” for Chelsea Peretti’s emoji-loving administrator. And apparently Joe Lo Truglio’s Charles Boyle will not be too keen on this match. Phillippe is currently starring in USA’s Shooter. (He also recently insisted on Twitter that he is not dating Katy Perry, in case you were wondering.) He will show up in the second to last episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s current season, airing in May.
