Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper together at last in buddy-cop comedy
Since we have a sneaking suspicion that each serves as a go-to substitute for the other, this report from Risky Business that today’s movie alpha males Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper will star in a buddy-cop comedy together feels kind of inevitable. The two will partner up for an untitled actioner from Up In The Air co-writer Sheldon Turner, playing San Francisco cops who are forced to team with their ex-cop fathers for help cracking a case “with typically antagonistic results.” It’s being pitched as having a “Lethal Weapon flavor,” although we prefer to think of it as a really white Bad Boys (with a bit of Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot thrown in). Now the question is, who among Hollywood’s aging male actors will put aside their vanity to play Reynolds’ and Cooper’s respective dads?
