Ryan Reynolds drops by a familiar location in Deadpool 2 set photo
Josh Brolin has teased Deadpool 2 by showing how hard he’s working to get in shape to play Cable. Ryan Reynolds, however, is playing it a little more chill—he posted a photo from the set to Twitter over the weekend, in which Wade Wilson takes a break in front of the X-Mansion.
In the first film, only Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus are hanging at Charles Xavier’s lavish pad when Deadpool rolls around. “It’s a big house,” he quips. “It’s funny that I only see two of you. It’s almost like the studio couldn’t afford another X-Man.” While the X-Men might not have been around for Reynolds’ photoshoot, jokes about Fox not giving enough love to the project probably won’t fly in the sequel, which is set to come out in June 2018.
