In the promo, Bee sports some feathered hair to deliver a boozy set while emceeing the event during the Carter administration. And yes, she would have made a nut farmer joke. More ominously, the Not White House Correspondents’ Dinner promises to toast the free press—“while we still have one.” The special will air April 29 at 10 p.m.
