Sam Worthington admits Clash Of The Titans wasn't very good, seeks acting tips from the Internet

It’s been a landmark year for celebrities speaking candidly, and that truth serum that has slowly crept its way through the bloodstream of the film industry seems to have finally reached the irritated spleen that is Sam Worthington: He recently admitted that this past summer’s Clash Of The Titans was kind of epically craptastic, and that he himself deserved some of the blame. In an interview with Moviefone regarding the upcoming sequel, Worthington argued that it was less perfunctory cash-in and more chance to right certain wrongs, particularly those pertaining to his own performance:

“I just think we can improve on it. I think the first one, we kind of let down some people. And yeah, I totally agree. The only point of doing a sequel is either the audience demands it or you believe you can better the first one. What we’re setting out to do with this one—the writers and the director and myself—is improve. I think I can act fucking better, to be honest … Just take all the notes from people that I have been reading about on the ‘net and give them a movie they fucking want. This one I want to kind of try to satisfy a lot more people.”

So apparently Sam Worthington is taking your suggestions, Internet. Here’s your chance to play cyber Stanislavski and ensure that Clash Of The Titans 2 is the movie you fucking want—and if it fails again, it's really your own fault. [via Movieline]
