Same freaks, different costumes in the first American Horror Story: Freak Show trailer

Less than two weeks after we were introduced to the freaks of American Horror Story’s fourth season, we’ve been gifted a full trailer ahead of its Oct. 8 premiere. Set in an early-’50s Florida freak show—supposedly one of the last in existence—it seems to find the AHS players up to their usual campy antics, albeit in circus costumes. It opens with new addition Michael Chiklis as the strong man, though as per usual, it’s Jessica Lange who has the real power as the freak show’s ringmaster. (She’s even dressed like an actual circus tent.) Meanwhile, Evan Peters can be seen seducing a blonde woman, Kathy Bates sports a full beard, Angela Bassett rubs some perfume on herself, and Sarah Paulson has two heads. Yep, it looks like American Horror Story.
