Sandra Oh to make SNL debut at the end of March
A few months after a dynamite hosting job at the Golden Globes alongside Andy Samberg, Sandra Oh is heading to the NBC institution that made Samberg famous with a solo hosting gig on Saturday Night Live. As announced just after Idris Elba’s own debut last night, Oh will be taking over SNL for its March 30 episode, just a week before the return of Killing Eve, with Tame Impala as the musical guest. This should further raise Oh’s comedy status after that aforementioned Golden Globes show, especially since nobody really gives a shit about the Golden Globes (whether the event has a good pair of hosts or not).
Now we just have to wait and see who will play Jodie Comer’s Villanelle in the inevitable Killing Eve sketch. No, we’re just kidding. It’ll obviously be Kate McKinnon, and she’ll obviously be very good.
