Sarah Paulson wants to revive her character from American Horror Story: Coven

In the sprawling, interconnected world of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story—which has never really been bound by logic—any character from any season could ostensibly make a triumphant return, and Sarah Paulson has one in mind. At the PaleyFest panel for American Horror Story: Roanoke, Paulson revealed that she would like to once again inhabit the spirit of Coven’s Cordelia Foxx.

“Probably Cordelia. We only got to see her just getting her powers,” Paulson explained, according to Variety. “I just would like to know if the power might have been something that kind of changed her.” The last time we checked in with Cordelia, she had assumed the mantle of the Supreme and gotten her eyesight back, so she was doing pretty well, especially for Murphy creation. Paulson also teased: “Maybe we’ll get to see that.” And with least three more seasons—and, let’s be real, probably more—on the way, perhaps Murphy will listen to his favorite performer’s request.
