Though she didn’t announce it ahead of time like Bobby Moynihan and Vanessa Bayer, Saturday Night Live cast member Sasheer Zamata is also leaving NBC’s iconic sketch comedy show. According to ET Online, last night’s Dwayne Johnson-hosted season finale was Zamata’s final episode as a regular cast member, and though she hasn’t released a statement about leaving the show yet, she did post a photo on Instagram last night that had a slight degree of finality:
Zamata joined SNL in 2014, with her casting prompted by a big public outcry against the fact that the show hadn’t added a black female cast member in years.
