You know what they say: All good things must come to an end, or at least return to podcasting. That’s what’s happening to the TV incarnation of Comedy Bang! Bang!, which, after four years, is airing its final set of episodes starting October 28 on IFC. The final 10 episodes will air back-to-back each week on Friday night at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., with the series finale set for December 10. Guests for the final run of episodes will include Malin Akerman, Mike Colter, Kaley Cuoco, Ben Folds, Gillian Jacobs, Allison Janney, Jason Mantzoukas, Haley Joel Osment, Chris Parnell, Krysten Ritter, Adam Scott, Paul F. Tompkins, and former co-host Reggie Watts.
We here at The A.V. Club have long been fans of Scott Aukerman and friends’ surreal take on the late-night talk show, and IFC has given us exclusive access to art celebrating the show’s farewell. Featuring Aukerman and current bandleader-co-host “Weird” Al Yankovic, the poster is as bizarre as you might expect, suggesting that Scott and Al will continue to be inseparable long after the show ends.
