Scotland Yard investigating 3 new assault charges against Kevin Spacey

According to Variety, Scotland Yard is investigating three new sexual assault allegations that have been made against Kevin Spacey, with the oldest one going back to 1996. That’s in addition to three existing investigations into Spacey that the London police have been conducting since November. The Variety story doesn’t offer specific details of the allegations, but each of the three men claim Spacey assaulted them in different areas surrounding London, including one in Lambeth—the home of the Old Vic Theatre, which Spacey was the artistic director of for 11 years. Variety says almost two dozen men have presented various “claims against Spacey” to the Old Vic’s board of trustees, with the board issuing an apology for not addressing the claims until last year.

The new accusations are currently being investigated by the London police’s Child Abuse And Sexual Offenses Command.
